Even with the generous size of my bathroom, the structure does not allow the addition of any more towel racks. Therefore a double towel rail is a simply great addition. Sure beats trying to pack two towels onto the same rack particularly if you like nice thick towels.

You first thing to choose is the color. It needs to suit with the rest of your bathroom and not be overpowering. You can find colored models and even a few that are higher end material such as bronze or brushed nickel. But you don't need to spend a fortune to get a good looking fixture. There are plenty of metal or polished models that are perfect for a bathroom without breaking your budget.

Once you have color, check out manufacturers. As with other things, you can go from everyday pricing to extravagant for people who like to pamper themselves. It all boils down to your budget and how the rest of the room is furnished. If you have a budget planned then you will quickly realize which manufacturers you want to avoid.

One thing that you want to consider when having a double towel rail system is that you use the right bath sheets. Since it is added for two items to be hung you want to be sure to use towels that are not quite thick and luxurious. If not, they won't have sufficient time to dry properly especially if you live in a humid part of the world. This will not only result in moist towels when you are ready to shower again but it could lead to mildew and a bad smell.
