I would not discourage anyone from trying to reach their dream on the net. Be sensible when you start out, don't count on success to just fall on your desk. If you go in with the expectations of making big money your first few months, you are probably going to be disappointed.

4. Be prepared for a switch. The world wide web is ever changing and to be a prospering business person on the net, you have to be willing to change as well.
